EES Chorus Performance & COTS Vigil
The EES Chorus will be singing on the steps of City Hall for the COTS Candlelight Vigil on Friday, December 19th. Every year, the Committee on Temporary Shelter holds this event to honor people in our community who are experiencing housing insecurity. We’re really glad to be able to support this important event with music!
Our performance starts at 5:30 PM, but we’ll meet at 5:15 PM in front of City Hall (at the corner of Church and Main) to get ready. After the vigil, there will be cookies, cocoa, and tea. The whole event should wrap up by 6:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to join us!
If your child needs help with transportation, please email enolan@bsdvt.org by Monday, December 15th.
Classroom Parents Needed
Classroom Parents help build community by coordinating occasional needs (class celebrations, field trip help, quick email updates) and staying in touch with the teacher. We aim for one Classroom Parent per classroom. It’s low-commitment (~10 hours/year), flexible (can be done virtually), and teacher-aligned (simply check in to see what’s needed). We’re looking to fill one Classroom Parent spot for each of these classes: Hall (K), Fitzpatrick (1st), Pecor (2nd), Goldsmith (3rd), Styles (5th). Reach out to Eric Zamore (fzamore@gmail.com) to sign up.
