Edmunds Art Page

The Edmunds Elementary Art Program serves approximately 292 students, kindergarten through fifth grade. Each class is taught for forty five minutes once a week.   The program reflects Vermont and national art standards, including the principles and elements of art. Art work often reflects and reinforces classroom units or school-wide events. The program also works with community resources such as Frog Hollow Clay Studio, as well as local museums and galleries.

Classroom art: 
 students recently painted wooden chairs with design concepts as visual reminders of the art principles involved.

 

 

 

 
  • PORTFOLIOS- Each student creates a portfolio of their work
  • ART SHOWS- School-wide show held evening of the Spring Concert. District-wide show at Burlington City Hall in February.
  • CLASSROOM ART- On display throughout the year in Edmunds' hallways
